Retail Manager
Full-time with Benefits. Manage all aspects of the Retail Guest Center including sales, budgeting, scheduling, supervision and maintenance. Work closely with Messina Hof Vintage House Restaurant, Designer Events and the Villa at Messina Hof to promote and sell products and services. Promote tours and wine tastings, parties, repeat business and oversee VIP Club.
Related degree and/or 3-5 years of related experience. Ability to use personal computer. Have great people skills and leadership abilities. Excellent sales and promotional experience.
Hours of Guest Center operation:
M-Sat 10:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. and Sun 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Retail Associate
Full-time position with benefits. Responsible for retail sales of wines, food and merchandise, hospitality of guests, and care of physical center. Will lead winery tours and present wine tastings. Will also serve food and wine to customers in the Winemaster's Room. Must be familiar with Windos/PC and MS applications.
Hours of Guest Center operation:
M-Sat 10:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. and Sun 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Hours of Winemaster's Room operation:
M-Thurs 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Fri to Sun from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Able to lift 40 lbs. from floor to waist and to sit and stand for long periods of time. Previous experience required in retail or related field working closely with the public. Food Handlers & TABC Servers certificate required at own cost.
