Messina Hof's 2008 Harvest Festival

The Messina Hof Harvest Festival spans 5 weekends, from July 18th to August 17th.
The various Festival activities include: grape picking, grape stomping, Vineyard cuisine luncheons, wine & food seminars, and special dinners featuring unique menus - all in a family-oriented festival atmosphere. And when the 2008 Messina Hof Ports hit the shelves in your favorite store or wineshop, you get to say that you were a part of something special!

The fun begins on the evening of July 18th, when we kick things off with our Moonlit Harvest. We'll teach you the basics of grape harvesting, and then turn you loose in the vineyard to pick the ripest clusters of grapes in our estate vineyard while the sun goes down. We then head over to The Vintage House Restaurant to enjoy the first of several special menus created just for our Harvest Festival schedule.

Then, each weekend from Saturday July 19st, to Sunday August 17th, pick a day to show up bright and early in the morning to pick and stomp some more. You will also want to take part in a fabulous Harvest luncheon and/or take in an interactive seminar on food & wine pairing conducted by Messina Hof Co-Founder, and Cookbook Author, Merrill Bonarrigo.

Every Friday evening will feature a special Vintner Dinner highlighting a top-tier winery, along side your favorite Messina Hof wines; and on Harvest Saturdays, reserve your space at one of our extremely popular Murder Mystery Dinners, where you get to be part of an unfolding "who dunnit?" mystery - all while dining on a special "Vineyard Cuisine" menu at The Vintage House Restaurant.
