Arthur Avenue

Waiting in line at the Arthur Avenue market, I met a lady from Albany, New York. She was part of a group who came specifically to tour Arthur Avenue. You could buy any food you desired and get hand rolled cigars while you wait. They even have photos of Tony Soprano and other cast members shopping there.

Paul is always talking about the New York deli meats and was just delighted to see all of these hanging in the shop.

From there we went to visit Columbia University where he attended college. The student coffee shop looked much the same. Even the fashion today is not much different than it was when he was there. When you walk in a place like that you almost expect to see the 20 year classmates you knew many years ago (as they would have looked many years ago).
