Galveston Restoration

It is amazing how much restoration has already happened in Galveston.  So many houses and businesses look as though nothing happened.  Kudos to the owners.  I do believe it shows hope does truly spring eternal.  Everything looks so clean and new.  Rudy and Paco’s is a great example.  Just a year ago we dined there enjoying our Messina Hof Sauvignon Blanc with a great fish dish.  After all they have been through, Rudy and Paco’s looks even better than it did then.  Tonight we enjoyed a great steak that was perfectly seasoned,  Ricotta stuffed ravioli’s with a basil tomato cream sauce, and a blue cheese wedge salad – all went perfectly with the Paulo Bordeaux Blend.
