Goretti Winery

Have you ever received your wine from a gas pump? Well we have seen it and it is delightful. They have created a wonderful way for locals to come to the winery to fill their vessels with everyday table wine. Four stainless “gas pumps” can fill your vessel with white, red, rose’, or another through hose or spout.

This family is one of the most innovative in Umbria providing wine for everyday consumption and reserve wines that have received 90+ in the Wine Spectator. Truly they have wines for all seasons from bag in the box to premium wine 750 ml. To 18 liter soldiers.

Don’t castles just speak strength and longevity? Goretti castle is filled with antiques and history of the family where they easily entertain groups of 7 to 30. There they served us a selection of local meats, homemade pasta, and marinara (Paul says is it one of the best he has tasted), local cheeses splashed with their own delicious balsamic vinegar, and biscotti and chocolate with Grappa.
