Messina Hof Releases Texas’ First Ever Sagrantino…

12.07.15

This month, sag Messina Hof Winery & Resort released Paulo Sagrantino, making Messian Hof the first ever Texas winery to produce a Sagrantino. This deeply colored grape is produced in small quanities, and due to the exclusivity, it’s not widely known outside Italy. Sticking to the unique nature of this wine Messina Hof produced only 720 bottles of Paulo Sagrantino. Personally selected by Messina Hof’s Paul Vincent Bonarrigo, only the best grapes were used along with the best oak barrels. The Paulo Sagrantino is classic, rich and distrinctive with notes of cherry and plum along with plently of spice and tannins. For a perfect pairing drink this wine with Italian foods.
