Messina Hof Wine and Boston Market Chicken Pot Pie
The Boston Market Chicken Pot Pie actually surprised us. We tasted it with the Sauvignon Blanc, Private Reserve Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, White Zinfandel, Beau Jolee, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc. The flaky crust was such a large percentage of the texture and flavor it needed a wine with some flavor weight. Also, the broth seasoning turned out to be more savory than expected. We preferred the Sauvignon Blanc, Private Reserve Chardonnay, White Zinfandel, and the Cabernet Franc most. If you are a fan of Chicken Pot Pie dinners, please share which wine pairings you like best.
