My two favorite food groups are easily fruits and vegetables. But lets take a minute to focus on the veggies. Now, I prefer to have them either raw or steamed. But this dish can be even better with, you said it, a great sauce!
Follow the below directions for a nice change:
1 cup of thick mashed potatoes
½ cup of milk
1 cup of vegetable stock with 2 tablespoons of Chenin Blanc (or your favorite wine)
1 teaspoon of salt
Mix all incredients together and reduce over heat until smooth consistency. Serve over your favorite vegetables.
If you are making the stock just for this sauce, cook the vegetable to be served in the stock preparation.
