Wine and T.V. Dinners
08.18.08
Conversations while grape picking turned to t.v. dinners last week. (I had no idea how many people ate t.v. dinners.) They wanted to know what wine to serve. So, since I had not eaten t.v. dinners in years, I went to the store and looked at the freezer section where they are sold. That section was huge with all sorts of selections! Many types were well depleted so I chose the 4 that were most depleted and took them home. I made the assumption that the most depleted were probably the most popular. Those were: Boston Market Chicken Pot Pie, Lean Cuisine Chicken Teriyaki, Healthy Chioce Salisbury Steak, and Marie Callender’s Fettuccini with Chicken and Broccoli. I will let you know the reults as Paul and I taste them with wines.
