FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BRYAN, Texas – Messina Hof Wine Cellars, Inc, www.messinahof.com, proudly hosts the 30th Annual Wine & Roses Festival at the winery in Bryan on April 26, 2014, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History.
The annual event celebrates the budding of the vines and the blooming of the roses—incorporating local vendors, food trucks, artisans, wine pairing and art events, grape stomping competitions and live music. Local businesses and organizations will also take part in a Celebrity Grape Stomp activity, followed by City of Bryan Mayor Jason Bienski’s proclamation of Messina Hof Day, presented by Council member Art Hughes.
The 24th Annual Messina Hof Texas Artist Wine Label Competition submissions will be unveiled for public voting throughout the day. Artists Screen Printing Cooperative from Austin, Texas will host classes at the festival on printing with Pinot Noir wine. Live music will be performed throughout the day by Joe Teichman, Haley Cole and Rock-A-Fellas. For more information about the festival, please visit www.messinahof.com/events.
The Spring Release Dinner, featuring the release of new vintages, occurs the day prior, Friday, April 25th at 7:30pm. Individual seats and table reservations may be purchased for the fine-dining event, which includes an auction, at www.messinahof.com/events. Proceeds from the auction also support the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History.
