A Wine and Roses Weekend Wrap Up!

This past weekend, we celebrated with Spring Release, Wine and Roses and a 5K + Half Marathon!
The weekend started with Spring Release on Friday. Spring Release is one of three wine release dinners Messina Hof hosts during the year. At this event, we released seven new wines including Grenache Rosé, Pinot Blanc, Dry Riesling and more! We also auctioned off a 3 liter bottle of Mourvèdre benefiting the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley, resulting in $1,600.

Saturday, we celebrated with the 34th annual Wine and Roses Festival! From wine tasting to live music to the grape stomp competition, the rain didn’t keep guests from enjoying activities across property. Messina Hof’s founder Paul Vincent Bonarrigo even got his band back together for a 50th reunion! They rocked and rolled. Check out all the picture on our Facebook page!

The weekend wrapped up with a 5K and half marathon. Along with 1,000 plus runners, some of our VIPs joined in on the race representing Team Red Beret!
