Bye Harvest 2016, Hello Texas Wine Month!

It’s been a fun-filled three months from the first grape pick in July to Harvest Festival in August to the completion of white grapes in September to now… with only one truck of grapes left to be delivered to Messina Hof Estate, Harvest 2016 is coming to end!

This week we received a few final favorites including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Ruby Cabernet. Ruby Cab is pictured above.

Although we say goodbye to the 2016 Harvest season, we welcome Texas Wine Month! That’s right y’all, October is all about celebrating Texas Wine! The Texas Department of Agriculture has proclaimed October as Texas Wine Month “in honor of the growers and producers who are committed to making quality Texas wines an integral part of Texas agriculture and the worldwide marketplace.” We say cheers to that! Happy Texas Wine Month!
