There’s one month each year Texas wine lover looks forward to. It’s Texas Wine Month! With the help of our founder, Paul Vincent, the Texas Department of Agriculture designated October as the official month for Texas wine. The weather is cooling down and Texas Wine Month has begun, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate it with our fellow wine lovers.
Every October, Messina Hof participates in various Texas wine festivals and events. Check out these exciting experiences and sip your way through the best of Texas wine!
Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail
Join in on the fun with the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail event happening all month long! Savor the best that the Texas countryside has to offer with three wine flight tastings at Southeast Texas’ most premier wineries, including our very own Messina Hof Estate Winery.
Tickets must be purchased online. When you arrive at the winery, please present your tickets either electronically or printed on paper for scanning to receive your tastings. We ask that any groups larger than 7 contact us before arrival.

Fredericksburg Food & Wine Fest
Attention all foodies and wine lovers! It’s time for the annual Fredericksburg Food and Wine Festival. On October 26 – 28, the city of Fredericksburg will be hosting a full-coursed celebration of wine, spirits, food, and music for all to enjoy.
This year, we have partnered with GO Texan! to host the GO Texan! Dinner at the Messina Hof Hill Country Winery on Thursday, October 26, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Your ticket will include an official Fest glass and a five-course meal catered by Vivere Catering paired with award-winning Messina Hof wines.
