October is such a great month and this weekend was a great example of why! Texas Reds Steak and Grape 
Festival was fabulous. Wines from 26 Texas wineries, juicy steaks, and great music were served up Friday and Saturday. Messina Hof helped to start this festival and we are so proud of what the city of Bryan has done to develop it. Though the rains brought an early end to the festivities Saturday night, we got to watch the Aggies win on TV. What a great ending to a wonderful day.

What a great ending to a wonderful day.Sunday was the Texas Reds Brunch at the Vintage House at Messina Hof. We celebrated the October Girls birthdays! Instead of a traditional birthday cake we opted for Solera Freezes. These were decadent. Homemade vanilla ice cream blended with Solera Sherry and topped with a pool of Solera. Along with all of the other festivities of the weekend, RenFest was in full swing. Don’t miss the Messina Hof Wines being served at various tavern locations around the festival. You can tell there is Messina Hof by looking for the Branded Barrel Head.
