Harvest is Here

As many of you may know the summer months of July and August are exciting times here at Messina Hof Winery & Resort. Each weekend is full of eventful activities surrounding this year’s Harvest. But don’t let the excitement of the picking and stomping of the grapes tire you out too much! Both Friday and Saturday evenings over the course of the next few weeks will feature truly one-of-kind Messina Hof Specialty Dinners.

The Moonlit Harvest on July 12th will kick-off this month of festivities. The following night we take a trip back to the 1920’s with the “Grape Gatsby” dinner party. This four course meal alludes to the fine dining and luxury of Daisy Buchanan and will leave you feeling like quite the elite. The following Friday (July 19th) you will be asked to channel your inner detective at the Murder Mystery Dinner, Murder at the Deadwood Saloon. After the mystery is solved, Saturday evening we encourage you to throw on your boots and join us for our Boots and Barrels Dance Party.

The third weekend of Harvest (July 26-27th) another murder mystery must be solved at the “Assassination at the Superhero Assembly” specialty dinner on Friday. Then join us after a long day of Harvest on Saturday for a Tapas & Tasting Soiree to help you wind down. The final weekend of Harvest will not be one to miss.  To conclude this month of events, you are invited to join us for the Barrel Tasting and Food Pairing seminar. This event will illustrate how to best accentuate the flavors and characteristics of your food and wine beverage choices. To round everything out the Grand Finale Gala will be held on Saturday August 3rd and will be over the top and feature live music!
