Harvest Season is Almost Here!

Harvest season is almost here! I love this time of the year. The vineyard is gorgeous and our Messina Hof family members are busily collaborating to finalize the Harvest festival events. I am so proud of our team for working hard together to ensure the best experience possible for our guests. We love to share our award winning wines, vineyard and resort setting with everyone we meet. The Harvest daytime events and specialty dinners are sure to be a fantastic time! Call and make your reservations today so that you can participate in the fun and festivities. Events will run every Friday and Saturday starting on 12 July 2013 until 3 August 2013, so lots of opportunities for revelry.

Our kickoff event for Harvest 2013 is Moonlit Harvest starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, 12 July 2013. I cannot wait for the first event of the season next week. Moonlit Harvest was extra special for me and Paul M. last year, and will forever hold a close place in our hearts. Our son, Paul Anthony, was born the day prior to Moonlit Harvest in 2012. I am stunned to think that he is almost one year old now. The Lord has blessed us over this past year, and Sophia Marie adores her “baby brodder” (baby brother in Sophia language). I captured his grape stained footprints at 9 days old last year, and I plan to get him to “stomp” this year as well. He started walking last weekend, so maybe he can stomp by himself! If anything, Sophia will be sure to help him out. She will be stomping for her fourth year – Such an expert! Each new Harvest season reminds us that we have been graced with another year of opportunities with friends and family. We look forward to celebrating and giving thanks for each vintage.
