Harvest Update: From Vine to White Wine

We are well on our way to completing the crushing of white wines at Messina Hof Estate this harvest season! Since harvest kicked off with Blanc du Bois at the end of July, we have crushed a total of 262.7875 tons of white grapes! Among the 13 white varietals are favorites like Gewürztraminer, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Grigio and the recently delivered Chardonnay.

Messina Hof’s Chardonnay grows in two vineyards located in the Texas High Plains. With Chardonnay being the most diverse and the most planted white wine grape in the world, Messina Hof makes two delicious versions of this classic: Un-Oaked Chardonnay and our Private Reserve Chardonnay.
