Let’s Talk Turkey – Green Pesto Recipe
If you’re thinking of preparing a fired, baked, roasted, or boiled turkey – try pairing your dish with the Green Pesto sauce. It’s easy to make and full of flavor. This recipe will go perfect with Messina Hof Chardonnay. Some choices for other great wines to go along with your meal include Messina Hof Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and even Sparkling Wines.
-2 cups olive oil
-½ cup garlic, chopped
-1 cup chardonnay
-1 lb. butter
-½ cup fresh minced basil
Heat olive oil in saute’ pan. Add garlic and cook golden. Add wine and remove from stove. Pour all into blender and add butter several tablespoons at a time until creamy. Stir in basil.
