Messina Hof Estate Winery Expands by 55,000 Gallons

08.13.16

BRYAN, TEXAS – August 2016 – Messina Hof Winery continues on their mission to be a leader in the production of Texas wine adding 8 new stainless steel tanks at the Estate Vineyard in Bryan, Texas. Combined the tanks will hold about 55-thousand gallons which is equivalent to 277,602 bottles of wine.

Since the expansion project began in 2015, Messina Hof has added both steel tanks as well as oak barrels equaling 95-thousand gallons. The expansion has effectively doubled production creating the ability to process more wine for both Messina Hof as well as supporting other Texas wineries.

“Messina Hof has a passion and lifelong commitment to Texas wine,” said Paul M. Bonarrigo, Messina Hof’s Chief Executive Officer. “We will continue to invest in being a leader of our industry.”

Messina Hof will continue to focus on increasing the efficiency and quality of their wine making facilities. The next addition will take place this month with a new crush pad.
