Messina Hof Honored with Four First Place Awards at GrapeFest!

Each year, crowds of wine lovers flock to Grapevine for GrapeFest and this past weekend was no different! Messina Hof participated in the festival’s favorite activity, the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic in which wine consumers themselves judge the competition.
Taking home four First Place awards for all four wines entered in the competition, Messina Hof proved to be the top-pick among the crowds. Messina Hof was the only winery honored with four First place awards, winning more than anyone else in the competition.

White (Off Dry) – Father and Son Riesling 2016, Texas High Plains
White (Sweet) – Angel Riesling, Texas
Reds (Light) – Private Reserve Pinot Noir 2016, Texas
Reds (Medium) – GSM, Texas
The People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic is the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the United States. This year’s compeition featured 146 Texas wines from 39 wineries.
