Messina Hof Winery & Resort Hosts 31st Annual Wine & Roses Festival

BRYAN, TEXAS – Messina Hof Winery & Resort will host its 31st Annual Wine & Roses Festival on April 25, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy the numerous festival activities that include a grape stomp competition, wine tastings, behind-the-scenes winery tours, live music, wine pairing classes, Pinot’s Palette painting classes and more.

“The Wine & Roses Festival pays homage to the Old World tradition of placing a rose bush at the end of each row of grape vines. Susceptible to the same diseases as the grapes, the rose bush allows winemakers to estimate the health of their vineyards,” said Messina Hof Chief Executive Officer Paul M. Bonarrigo.

The public is invited to explore the Messina Hof estate while taking in the sights, sounds and sensations provided by all the activities offered throughout the day. Attendees will have the chance to experience local food vendors, artisans and activities spread throughout the estate, with some activities only being available at specific times throughout the day.
