Full-bodied with jammy dark fruit flavors, the Protégé Primitivo was barrel aged in oak to bring out rustic cedar aromas with hints of espresso. We suggest pairing this perfectly balanced wine with steak or Italian dishes featuring thick red sauces. Another beautiful feature of this wine is the label showcasing the artwork of Amanda Dominguez, the winner of the 2015 Texas Artist Wine Label Competition.
