Messina Hof’s Orange Muscat Mistella Wine Cocktail

Summer is in full swing, and the beautiful June weather has made its appearance. We know the kids are out for school, but who says the parents can’t have just as much fun? We have the perfect cocktail recipe for those endless summer nights. It’s quick, it’s easy, and above all, it’s delicious!

This recipe uses simple ingredients for a flavorful, perfectly sweet, citrus-infused drink that’s sure to become a crowd favorite! You can use a combination of fruit slices that are more catered to your personal preferences. This is where you can really personalize this recipe to suit your needs. We used a combination of oranges, grapefruit, and lemon. You can use less or however many as you would like!

Ingredients:

– 1 bottle of Messina Hof Orange Muscat Mistella

– 1 grapefruit peeled and cut into segments or slices

– 2 oranges peeled and cut into segments or slices

– 2 lemons cut into slices

– 2 clementine mandarins cut into slices

– 2 tablespoons of honey

– ½ cup orange liqueur (like Grand Marnier)

– 2 cups chilled sparkling water

– Juice of 1 lemon

– Ice

Once you have all the ingredients, it’s now time for the fun part. Let’s put your mixology skills to the test and start creating cocktails from the comfort of your very own home!

Instructions:

1. Put the citrus slices and grapefruit segments in a pitcher. Add the honey and orange liqueur, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Add the chilled sparkling water, Orange Muscat Mistella wine, lemon juice, and ice. Mix well. This Orange Muscat Mistella Sangria Cocktail can be served immediately or refrigerated for a couple of hours before serving.

3. Using part of a fruit slice, run it around the top of the glasses to coat the rim with sugar.

4. Pour your cocktail from your pitcher into the sugar-coated glasses.

5. When serving, use a spoon or fork to put some of the citrus pieces into each glass.

6. Garnish with mint (optional).
