Updates from the Vineyard

Messina Hof is pleased to announce a re-newed family member has joined our team. Randy Herron was with us 15 years ago. He went off to see the world and succeeded as the winemaker at Yellow Tail. Now is has come back to Messina Hof family with great skills in winemaking and leadership. Randy grew up in Modesto, California where he later on got a college scholarship for Track & Field. He received his degree in enology at Fresno State, California, and started his career at Gallo. Randy and his wife Stacy have a son Connor, 9 and daughter, Keira 7. Hopefully you will come to meet Randy and his family at the next VIP reception on Sunday, July 24th and harvest.

The 2011 VIP Cruise was a resounding success! Paul and I had such a good time and so enjoyed spending time with all of our friends. Rome, Sicily, Athens, Ephesus, and Crete each provided a uniquely wonderful experience to add to our memory libraries. Wonderful family-made wines, Cretan Olive Oil, traditional foods, great restaurants, and amazing scenery provided the perfect canvas for joyful fellowship enjoyed by all. Karen and Paul did such an amazing job in our absence! Thank you to both of them. Paul and I look forward to our next adventure to Telluride, Colorado!
