What an amazing birthday for 2011!

Messina Hof won Best of Herd at the San Antonio Livestock Show Wine Competition; I met so many amazing women at the NAWBO gala; I got to spend time with my husband; and the stock market did not go down!  The Lord has blessed us so and provided us many opportunities to meet and work with so many wonderful people. What a gift! He has blessed Paul’s palate and spoken to the judges heart. We always say that winning an award is a gift.

To win Best of Herd means that Messina Hof won more awards than any other Texas winery.  This is the second time that Messina Hof has won Best of Herd at this competition in San Antonio.  it is even more special that it is in our Messina Hof Hill Country back yard.

I am so proud of Paul for his commitment to making quality wines.  He never stops; he never accepts mediocre; he lives by striving to make everything gold medal winning quality.
