What is a New Way to Incorporate Wine into my Summer Events?

An exciting way to serve wine at your summer events would be to try a sangria recipe. Sangria, a wine punch, can be a combination of all of your favorite flavors. It is enjoyed in Spain, Portugal, all over South America and is a perfect way to beat the summer heat!

Sangria Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 bottle of Messina Hof Sweet Sangria
1/2 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup strawberries (sliced)
1 12 oz. bottle of ginger ale
1/2 cup sugar
2 oz. blackberry liqueur

Preparation:

Toss the wine, the berries, the blackberry liqueur and the sugar in a pitcher, cover and place in the refrigerator overnight. Pour in a bottle of chilled ginger ale just prior to serving. Add ice in either the pitcher or individual glasses. Enjoy!

2 bottles chilled Messina Hof White Zinfandel or Sophia Maria Rose
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
2 cups pineapple juice
1 liter ginger ale

Directions:
Stir the strawberries, lemonade concentrate, rose wine, and pineapple juice in a punch bowl until combined. Stir in the ginger ale just before serving.
