Wine Premier has come and gone!

The wines were amazing! The food was great. Not only were we honored by a broad portfolio of new wines from the creamiest Private Chardonnay we ever produced to a new Paulo International blend of Cabernet Franc and Shiraz that was the rave of the dinner to a brand new dessert wine called Mistella which is brandy fortified Muscat Canelli grape juice. To add to the joy of the season we learned that Messina Hof won its 5th saddle at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! Praise the Lord! It will be presented at the 2012 awards program.

It is so difficult to win awards. It is more difficult to win gold medals. It is most difficult to win the saddle and Best of Heard awards. The Lord not only had to bless the work of the winemakers’ hands, but He had to touch the hearts of multiple judges in blind tastings in order to choose Messina Hof each time.
