We are counting down the days to Harvest Festival here at Messina Hof! To celebrate this upcoming event, here are the top things to do at Harvest Festival…

Become a Big Kahuna. While picking grapes in the vineyard, look for the most interesting and unique grape cluster to enter the infamous Big Kahuna Contest! Show off your talent and the audience will determine who the Big Kahuna is for the day.

Get messy. Harvest wouldn’t be complete without grape stomping and purple feet! At Messina Hof Estate we grow Lenoir, which is unique due to its purple juice. (Click here for 7 Facts About the Lenoir Grape). Get your feet messy for your “signed” souvenir t-shirt commemorating your adventure!

Taste something new. Step out of your comfort zone and try some new wines. Messina Hof has over 90 wines to taste and an expert staff to guide you on your wine tasting journey.

Take a selfie with the Paul’s. The whole Bonarrigo family will be out and about at Harvest, so don’t forget to snap a picture with Paul’s. You never know, they might even sign a bottle for you too!

Attend a Murder Mystery Dinner. Murder Mystery Dinners have become a Messina Hof classic and it’s no wonder why. Not only will you be treated to a fabulous meal, each course is expertly paired with one of Messina Hof’s award-winning wines. In between courses, you’ll be able to interact and collect clues as to who the murderer is. Or is it you? If so, then make sure you’re clever enough to avoid suspicion…

Do some pairin’ with Karen. Each year, Messina Hof’s own Karen Bonarrigo leads a unique wine and food pairing class. Themes change yearly and we are excited to announce this year’s theme is brunch! Be on the lookout for the menu!
